Great original story

It was a solid representation of the traditional: fallen hero, coming of age, sports movie. Even without knowing the story it was clear what was going to happen from the first five minutes so it made it that more surprising that the movie was still able to elicit an emotional response at the end. All the actors including Aaron Eckhart and Finn Wittrock delivered solid performances.

Very well written and acted. Although I knew the ending before the movie started, it was handled beautifully.
