Hey, \rDue to tech issues I was kicked off the screening / platform last night so went online and rented it to continue watching w/ my grandma ... \rI loved this film, and already posted about it. Here is why: Iin addition to it being an amazing well - crafted atmospheric film, it's contributing to a dialogue that has the ability to influence and change policy. \rAmazing. \rThank you.

Very well written that truly show how "boys will be boys"and how girls (women) shouldn't put themselves in those situatiins. The movie also shows how boys (men) think it is no big deal to rape where females have to be ashamed and suffer so much they take their own lives. Cassie taking "revenge" on behalf of Nina may be a bit extreme but she felt so guilty of not being there for Nina that she was willing to die for her best friend. Promising Young Woman is a must see movie and should have won more awards.

I thought it was an excellent, impactful, and brutally honest film that handled the topic matter of sexual assault very well. The movie itself was well made and the dialogue and pacing of the movie were very clever. I can't think of a single criticism for the film, very well done.
