Went with teenage girls and there where some parts that scared them including the beginning when it looks like the boy died.

The movie was really good. I kept me entertained throughout the whole movie. Seeing it in 3D was awesome! Had to be one of the best 3D movies I have seen! The only issue I had with the movie is when he arrived home. It was like nobody cared really this man just came back after you thought he was dead and only his parents cared?!?! Besides that some other scenes could have been better but overall a really great movie!

I thought the movie was well written. The outdoor scenes were amazing.

Surprised we were treated to IMAX 3D for this screening. I tend not to do either format usually because I wear glasses and don't particularly care for "big and loud". This was neither too big nor too loud. Alpha looked really beautiful and had some good tension. Good family film and animal lover film. I thought it odd that a movie that would appeal to young kids so much went the subtitles route rather than the narration route because of the foreign/created language.
