I'm not a movie critic, but this is not a movie I would recommend. The movie was lacking any kind of purpose or creativity. It desperately tried combining two different cultures(American and Asian) and ended being more like stereotypes. This movie was just lacking all over.

Played too much to the stereotypes, and no real closure at the end. It was just ok.

I liked the story and it’s particularly insightful right now to better understand the challenges faced by Asian immigrants! I thought the casting was great.\r\rI am not the target audience for this film only because the music lyrics and language represents the gritty areas it stems from. While it is good to learn about to better understand each culture, it shows how great the need is for efforts to improve.

Really liked the portrayal of Boogie's family with all their flaws. Had difficulty understanding the fast-paced "street talk". Wasn't really sure what Boogie wanted for himself. \r
