It was a bit slow and often had to make an effort to bring my attention back into the picture.

It's a bittersweet love story. Has great music but only an ok plot line.\rThe acting is good and it's kind of fun hearing the female leads talk like characters from '5's tv shows & movies.\rI'd recommend it to music lovers and fans of black cinema.

It was a "nice" movie. Not, great, not bad, not memorable. Basic plot, something I'd watch on TV.

This movie has a low key tone, but it's very charming. Tessa Thompson was wonderful. The second half lost its way a bit, but I really liked it.
