The acting was excellent. Story predictable.\rUnfortunately I had a buffering issue at 45 minutes and missed too much to really judge it. Got it to resume at 1 :10 .\r

i'm not able to review because at the point the screening started, the movie continued only on my ipad, not on the TV that I had it linked to with an apple to HDMI cable. Until the movie started, the ipad screen was showing on the TV so I thought everything was working, but when the movie started, the TV image froze and I got nothing. I would appreciate more technical assistance about how to view on a TV, as I don't care for watching on a tiny screen.

I feel that UNCLE FRANK is a powerful coming of age movie told beautifully through the eyes of Beth as she gets to know her uncle Frank - really the only family member that seems to really see her. I thought it dealt well with the complexities of difficult family stuff and the difference that forgiveness can bring. I really liked how the film slowly reveals the hard past through flashback as uncle Frank is forced to confront feelings long buried. Well done film!
