Very well-made film overall. A change in the book structure of the musical may just become controversial to some but I thought it added HUGE punch.\r\rJon M. Chu truly was the perfect commercial director for this property. The staging for a lot of the sequences were particularly inspired. Casting and sound design were both on point.

It’s a really good movie with a lot of heart and good music!!!
