I enjoyed the final 2/3rds of the film. Unfortunately the best part of the film was during a disappointing LSD trip the main characters were on. The first 1/3 was very slow and slightly boring. The humor was good and the action was pretty good but over all this film did not blow me away. I suggest you spend your extremely expensive ticket price on an uplifting wholesome movie like Father Stu.

It was a really fun bromance between Nic Cage and Pedro Pascal. The LSD sequence seemed like a missed opportunity for inserting Cage back into his old roles. It really could have gone harder on the whole meta angle. That being said I ate it all right up.

Way too many f words. But a fun movie!
