A great action-drama film that had an unexpected depth narrative that closely resonates with our time. I enjoyed Jackie Chan, but was not a big fan of his action/comedy/drama/martial arts films growing up but I couldn't help but fall for the character he played in the movie, tonight. The movie adjusts its lens to show the invisibleness of a hard working, quiet, no-troublesome, rule abiding Asian "citizen" in west, London, but this man was never received as a citizen, clearly, "second-class citizen", remained as a mere "foreigner" or "China man" in the eyes of Londoners (and Irish), specifically, its government, in spite of many years he has lived, worked and paid taxes in London. He was welcomed with suspicion with reluctance, which leaves this deep seated unsettling sense of a good person who has right to be present, visible and ability to sustain himself, yet the people takes him as an outsider, a foreigner, "China man" a person without a home in his rightful place, his paper residence, "home". In the end, it zooms its lens and begs to answer who defines and names "foreigner" and who are the real "terrorist" bombing and killing people's lives in West.

This movie was AMAZING! One of the best movies I've seen in a long while. Jackie Chan exceeded what were already extremely high standards and expectations! I will definitely be watching this movie again and buying it on blu-ray/digital. It already ranks as of of my favorite movies of all time!

It was a fantastic movie created in the vein of Taken. Seeing Jackie Chan play a heartbroken father seeking revenge for his fallen daughter was not only sad, but action packed as well. This is a movie the whole family can enjoy.
