Great CGI. Very thought provoking. Great acting.

This was a very powerful movie that tackled a heavy subject in an alternately serious and light way. I enjoyed the moments of comedic relief peppered throughout. I also had no idea I would fall in love with a fictional creature the way that I fell for Okja. The love between the girl and Okja resonated. At points the film reinforced a cynical view of the world, but at others it was optimistic.

good acting and the story line looks painfully probable. It does make me rethink my diet unfortunately.

With the exception of the young Korean girl who I thought was very likable and gave a great performance, I thought the other main characters over-acted their parts. The movie did a good job of making Okja a grotesque but relatable creature. The Korean mountains and wooded landscapes looked beautiful. But the plot line of the movie was heavy-handed.
