Great acting, Beautiful cinematography and great direction -- all fall flat due to Koepp's lackluster script. It was nice to hear John Williams' score but my goodness...that script was dreadful! I liked Cocoon, Contact and even Earth Girls Are Easy more.

A whole lot of.nothing happens and the plot isn't intriguing.

There was nothing unique or different about this movie. The movie was very predicable it also lacked any sense of intrigue or anticipation and I never felt any real connection with any character good or bad . I really expected more from a movie directed by Steven Spielberg. The story line was an old rumor that has been around for years. The movie was border line boring , I was disappointed

Too many plots, not enough cohesion.\rStorylines are not tied together, many arcs are left unexplained or dropped.\rIt expected the viewer to enjoy the classic "Summer Blockbuster" action scenes too much and ignore the fact that there was no real story.\rEmily Blunt and Colin Firth acted well in their roles, but the characters lacked any real development; it was a waste of their talent.
