I didn’t care for the storyline at all. May have been better if the focus was solely on the mother, or a copycat killer type thing. Not a fan of the whole supernatural aspect.

Too much gore and very different from the first one. They dragged the beginning too much!

I went into the film sort of fuzzy from the first one so alot of the connections from the previous films were lost on me. That being said, it didnt really affect the enjoyability of the film. Don't expect a totally scary experience but more so a rather interesting one. Think Freddy Kruegar, retold. Big shoes to fill if youve seen the that series but the shoes fit snuggly. Enjoyable.
