Excellent!

GREAT MOVIE! The actors/actresses were excellent, beautiful costuming, the engaging story, just a great movie. It had a nostalgic feel that is so appreciated in this day and age of fast paced traumatic cinema. I look forward to watching it again when it's released.

I love everything about this film! SO ROMANTIC! It was so nice to see a movie about love and romance without over-exploited sex. Refreshing, actually. The writers treaded a gamut of emotions and tied all of the subtle nuances together effortlessly. "See you later, Alligator. After while, Crocodile." That's just one example. Few other films demonstrate this looped mastery. "Pretty Woman" and "Sleepless in Seattle" as two. If I still had a DVD player, I'd buy it. PERFECT period film that oozes of Black excellence after the renaissance through an alternate perspective of civil rights - the arts!

A lovely story about choosing a life that feels best for you! Such a relatable cast and I loved how they portrayed women being empowered to make the decisions they wanted. \r\rWonderful!
