I thought the film was brilliant. I love the way the plot played out and was real not phony.\rI really wish that the film had close captions available. I am hard of hearing and even with my hearing aids, I had difficulty understanding what was being said, especially by the Southern family. I think all films should have the availability of close captions.\rOtherwise, I will recommend the film, and I am so pleased that I had the opportunity to see it.\rThe acting was great. Kudos to all.\rAnd thank you for letting me see it.\rBernice K

Excellent cast, superbly written movie about love & loss, compassion & acceptance.

While starting off in seemingly familiar and predictable territory, the story line develops in unexpected and gripping directions. Paul Bettany's performance is Oscar nomination worthy, as are Alan Ball's script and Nathan Barr's score.
