Wonderful take on a true classic! The music was amazing. So cool that Rita Moreno was part of the cast.

Better than the original! Authentic characters, no dubbed voices (that I could detect). Refreshing takes on the old songs and thoroughly entertaining.

OMG it was so good i am in my 50's and i think as much as this film was made 60 years ago it so applies now and even though i saw it as a child i cried through so much of this story because it meant so much more now as an adult and all the same issues are still going on ... it is so sad and real and was done so well
