Wow...The Hate U Give film is an absolute must see that shows viewers "the other side" of the all too frequent tragedies that are happening today. The side that most don't have an opportunity to see. For the entire movie I found myself on the edge of my seat, with tears streaming down my face or smiling from laughing. This movie draws you in and makes you feel and think deeply. A very moving film.

This movie hit close to home and is a true depiction of what’s happening around us and to our young black men.

This movie was powerful and had a very motivating message. I admire the strength and beauty of each characters role and how they brought this story to life. This movie had me reflecting on my own life and I could defintely relate to the main character. I hope everyone sees this movie and be inspired.

Such a powerful movie. It's a must watch.
