A little slow in some parts. If you are not a fan of Cage, then this is not the movie for you. He pays homage to himself in his other movies, (Leaving Las Vegas, Gone in 60 seconds, Regrading Tess) while playing himself in over the top fashion. This movie is by him, for him, about him. It has a few laughs and some action. It is a decent escape for 1&1/2 hrs.

It is a fan movie. Not for everyone. I enjoyed Sandra Bullock's The Lost City more which has a similar tempo.

I appreciated the shorter run time. It was an interesting idea that worked well on occasion. Absolutely loved Jacob Scipio and Lily Sheen. All the Easter eggs were very well done.

Tiffany Haddish is underused, and it's jarring when she's been shot and nobody offers her any assistance (not to mention checking on the bad guys' injuries--they are human beings, after all). And it's odd that Nick successfully impersonates a Spaniard with no apparent knowledge of the Spanish language. But it's a fun, silly movie. Both Cage and Pedro Pascal are very funny. Love the acid trip.
