Great Sci-Fi action flick. Entire world in peril, killer aliens, time travel to the future and back, military force, guns and explosions, you've got it all! very entertaining, I'd recommend it to all.

It was a fun and exciting movie. I love Chris Pratt and think he has charisma. He and the other actors elevated the story. The ending was a little weak. Why did he get so worried about his grown daughter dying. All they really had to do was manufacture the poison for the next 15 years, as well as develop a reliable delivery-system weapons, and they would be able to kill and eradicate the aliens when they first appear. That alone would change the future and save his daughter. But sometimes obvious solutions don't appear or you'd lose movie length. Good thing Pratt, Simmons, et al carried

A fun play on a war movie combined with time travel where time travel paradoxes are simply addressed. A few good twists kept the movie fresh when it seemed it was winding down. The movie setting things up, but the payoffs all happen in the span of five minutes and center around Dan's associations. It works, but feels too convenient. Several dumb decisions written for the characters, too many "close save" action shots, and bizarre internal monologue that felt out of place and contrived detracted quite a bit as it reflected lazy writing. An entertaining action movie with a touch of novelty.
