As a fan of the book, I was disappointed that some elements were missing, but understand the time constraints of a movie. I found the movie to be really entertaining, but character development felt rushed. It took 5 years to get the first key, but the rest seemed to only take a couple of days. Also the race at the beginning was the best action scene, which made the rest feel like a letdown.

It was a good movie overall, but it was different compared to the book, but it was still enjoyable.

Deviations from the book were distracting, but the spirit of the book was definitely preserved. It was a fun movie and I'd like to see it again so as not to be as distracted by comparing it to the book.
