Very nice movie with a new view to the post life of Jesus and what happen.

It was nice to see a different view of the event surrounding the death of Jesus. Joseph Fiennes did a great job of showing a wide range of emotion that you would expect as a person would come to learn about Christ. I felt the characterization of Mary Magdalene as still being a woman of the street was completely inappropriate and inaccurate. Stephen hagan as Bartholomew was great comic relief in an otherwise serious movie.

Very good - liked the different perspective about what happened after Jesus rose from the dead.

I regret the delayed response...Risen was a very good movie. I do not believe I have seen a prior movie based on the perspective of the manhunt after the Crucifixion of Christ. I would have liked to have seen a couple more references to scripture and more clarity with regard to the Great Commission.That said, the acting was superb and I enjoyed this faith-based film. The costume design, set design and cinematography were excellent. Thank you for the advanced screening opportunity!
