The Tomorrow War is a fun time traveling alien battling action film with some endearing moments. Felt like it could’ve been two movies but instead packed into one. A bit dragged out at time but the action kept my attention. \r

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It's got a lot of what you'd expect from a big budget sci-fi summer popcorn movie, which includes good action sequences, some of those bad 80s one-liners, and there are a few "How did they not figure that out yet?" moments. But as the movie get into it's second and third acts, the dialogue gets better and bring in some interesting turns. I think it's the great supporting casting choices (Sam Richardson, JK Simmons, Mary Lynn Rajskub) which make the comic moments actually funny, not forced, and elevate the movie beyond similar films.

Interesting idea of time travel and aliens... but there were some plot inconsistencies, especially towards the end. Suspenseful and convincing action/ special effects - fun to watch. Good acting by all.

I enjoyed it - lots of action and edge-of-your-seat excitement. A bit too long though.
