It is effective in the placing the viewer in the action with the film attention to the rig blowing up. Lacks story into the lives of the workers and families affected by the event.

I thought it was great that the movie was based on a true life of events. It had well recognized actors playing the roles of important character through out the movie. I personally like the encouter one has of how it feels to be up on an oil rig platform. In the end, the movie was ok, not much to say other then an oil rig blew up and many people suffered from it.

This seem more like a documentary for TV rather than a movie for the theater. It was missing a great deal
