Interesting because of the subject. Not a great movie but worth hanging in. I’ve always wondered about implants and this movie offered an inside view.

Sound of Metal was a very nice film with a wonderful message. As most of us consider anything abnormal a handicap one can learn to live with what most people call a handicap and they rest of us should learn that there are no real handicaps. Thanks.

An interesting look at a loss of the sense of hearing that I never thought or knew much about. Unique way to present what it’s like to hear through a cochlear implant...it would be awful! Riz Ahmed was really good. It was edited kind of awkwardly, though. It wasn’t clear how much time passed when Ruben was at the house. It seemed like he learned sign language really fast? Overall, it was a sad story. Watched it on an IMac, and it was difficult to see the subtitles from a few feet away, which were needed at times to understand the dialogue.
