Threads upon threads , as sticky as life gets and more so in a captured setting it did not hit dead poets society level for me , felt the film tried at vague hints to build thru the tale. I walked away with the line "It's ok not to be ok," from a different item resounding in my head.

A thought provoking examination of a modern issue. Two profs seeking tenure, the woman much older, she working harder then him to publish (or perish). A rich young woman beginning to feel the power and influence of her parents wealth. Did Julia Roberts' character's past cruel response influence her reactions? We questioned the last scene in the restaurant.I think now it was mandatory, accepting a request from a rich donors(makes us think she was still at Yale) and looking for an answer.... did he rape her? She brushes it off like the event didnt exist.

It started off slowly but picked up and the story and acting were both enthralling. It kept me focused and entertained all the way through. What a remarkable piece of art. I enjoyed it very much.
