"20th Century Women" was okay. It seemed like a vehicle for Annette Bening to show how goofy she could be at times. The premise of trying to understand your teenager is good but a parent doesn't need to know everything about a child. There was too much talking. After the movie, I heard a lot of people say it was okay.

Could relate to the whole women's movement theme in the movie, but the story got really slow in the last 30 minutes. Could have shortened the story by about 15 minutes. And all that smoking was a bit much...

Unlikeable charecters, not much of a plot. Actors were great, but feel the script had nothing to offer.

Quirky nostalgic film of how an 'older' mother is determined to 'understand' her much younger son in changing times. Unfortunately she solicits the aide of people who don't know what they want in life. Nothing spectacular about acting, BG setting or storyline. Glad to see B still around.
