Makes you think about Christianity . Great performances by actors

I thought it was very good and mad you think about faith and salvation. My only criticism is Andrew Garfield's accent. He was supposed to be Portugese but was speaking English in the film. Why even bother to try having a Portugese accent if you couldn't pull it off..

Excellent acting, depressing subject matter, and thought provoking.

I enjoyed the movie but it was a little long at 2hours 40 minutes. Myself and others around me felt it could be about 30 minutes to an hour shorter. Mr. Scorsese has a great looking film about a difficult subject that most people don't know about.
