The cycle of sexual abuse and the women’s reactions to their (shared) trauma was well-articulated and psychologically poignant. The individual resilience and support for one another that was conveyed, along with the women’s spiritual dilemmas. This movie was cinematographically well done, which added to the story line

This was an emotional heartbreaking tale of enduring abuse and gas lighting. It was nice to see the women struggle and face the unknown.

I loved it. I would have liked to know what happened when all of the men came back and if the women made a life for themselves. I'm hoping that there is a part 2 to this movie.
