I did enjoy the special effects as a disaster movie fan, however, the movie did not do a good job of getting the audience to build an attachment to the characters. So much more could have been done here, I felt it was choppy and did not flow. When they took the girl away from her family she seemed happy to leave her ailing mom and her dad behind, any kid would have lost it and would not want to leave, The film seemed so rushed. I was so looking forward to seeing this movie, but feel disappointed. I would like to thank you for the opportunity to see this movie but I will not recommend.

Terrible. Comically predictable, hit every trope in the genre.

The movie felt rushed, and the characters’ emotions were completely unrealistic. When they arrive in London, they abandon the people from the boat with no explanation, despite living with them in a bunker for five years. Right after their friend is shot, they are suddenly smiling, drinking, and laughing like it is a holiday gathering. The same emotional disconnect happens when another woman traveling with them is killed. Gerard Butler’s acting felt flat and uninspired. I felt no emotional connection to anyone. Overall, it felt like a straight-to-DVD movie. Mid.

The storyline had so many holes in it never really fully understood why things were happening the way they were happening and the ending left you wondering what the heck.
