I found the film very powerful and full of painful truth. Mohamedou's story was one that needed to be told, and it was told very well. Perhaps this film will help in the push to get the Guantanamo Bay detention camp permanently closed.

After 2020, we have faced so many different way of thoughts towards each other different culture, religions, race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, age, sex orientations, politics, and equality. I can more clearly see his experience straight into my heart through this film. Respect, that's what we need from each other any of us. Great acting for the Mauritanian, so natural. It is so great that I had a chance to see this movie in a good season. Thank you for virtual advance screening!
