Great action movie, but holes in the plot hurt the flow. Why was the couple in Brussels killed in the first place? What really happened with his wife? Wanted more perks into his life, too.Still a good 7 out of 10. 3.5 stars.

Not as good as the 2014 film, but still enjoyable. Solid acting performances all around. Only problem I have is how the villain(s) are written, and the reveal was underwhelming. I just didn't feel connected and invested in the story as much as the 2014 film. The finale of the movie felt anti-climatic, and a bit boring. However, the supporting characters in Robert McCall's (Denzel Washington) life are really good especially Ashton Sanders' character named Miles.

I felt the equalizer part 1 was much better than this.
