I enjoyed this movie more than I thought. I felt so light and inspired after watching it. I had a great discussion with a friend. I was impressed by how the movie made me think about Christianity, The ultimate goal is to have a personal relationship with Jesus. You need to have faith and believe regardless of what other people tell you. I felt Joseph Fiennes' response was realistic. His world was shattered; his foundation rocked. His conversion was met with a hefty does of skepticism.

Enjoyed Risen very much. My guest (date) is Christian and thanked me several times for taking her to see the film. It was well done and although the theatre wasn't as full as some previous screenings I have attended it was enjoyed by all attending, judging from the applause and the fact that very few left immediately, instead staying seated and sharing their comments and feelings. Very good. In my opinion the director took the audience on a ride through the eyes of a non--believer the powerful Tribune, Clavius. The settings were amazing and the dress was spectacular. The movie made me rethink my beliefs.
