I really enjoyed this movie! It was somewhat predictable but the pacing and the story were really good. My entire family watched and enjoyed it together (my mom even cried a few times). Apocalyptic movies have been somewhat overdone in the past few years but this one seemed more realistic and truly had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. Great movie!

Greenland is a movie that builds in intensity as a worldwide emergency unfolds over a couple of days. It is a rare combination of Family Friendly Disaster Action/Chick Flick that keeps the entire family interested. Those interested in being able to survive non-trivial emergencies can see this movie as a spring board to fruitful discussions on why family preparedness is important. Examples: How might we communicate when cell phones are failing? Why are "Go Bags" for every member of the family useful? Why is it a good plan to have a predetermined rally point in case we get separated and cannot go home?

It was exhilarating, keeps you on the edge of your seat! Great movie!
