Overwrought dialogue completely forced and unrealistic. The adult actors were fantastic, leads were weak. Trying too hard to be clever with camera shots during first half, then it dropped off. Someone should've decided earlier what style they wanted to use and stuck with it.

It was sad

The funny parts were not enough to offset how depressing this movie was. While it was powerful, I never wished I hadn't watched a movie before quite like I did this one.
