The initial Thanksgiving scenes were familiar and well done. As the character's backstory unfolds: the audience is represented by the narrator (Uncle Frank's niece) and simple actions represent big growth in the two characters. The film moves slowly thru memories and current facades like the wind on a muggy day, and there are few surprises.

I couldn't finish the movie because I couldn't rewind it. The video froze, so I walked away. When I returned, the movie was playing again and I'd missed 20 minutes. I enjoyed the first 30 minutes and will finish the movie when it's available commercially.
