Very cute, touches your heart. A touching family movie about some of the realities of adoption and fostering.

There were moments were I laughed through tears. However, this movie is not really just a comedy. It's a provides insights into foster care and adoption.

I was entertained, surprisingly. I expected it to be a heavy movie due to the subject matter. I found that the story line allowed the audience to get a glimpse of the difficulty faced by those willing to be foster parents. You do have to find the humor in those dark moments. It was very thoughtful of Octavia Spencer to give those of us that responded to the fires an evening to enjoy.

It has a great message that people can adopt and give children a good home! I thoroughly enjoyed it & loved that the movie had a LGBT couple as an adoptive family for a child
