It was a good remake...it would have been better with more killing..

Creepy, funny, and refreshing in an age of gore-centric horror movies.

Effective, well-constructed horror movie with incredible visuals and a masterful sound design. The best part of the movie is the interplay between the kids and their mix of bickering, trash talking, fighting and love for each other. The movie does get a little redundant with its scares and it would have been nice to find a way to pack in a little more plot into what's ultimately a slight story.
