The film was incredible. I was not expecting it to end the way it did but thought it worked well.

I love the attitude that this film took upon such an important topic. As a woman and as a sexual assault survivor, I related to the film on a personal level. I love how the film opened the topic of rape/sexual assault in a fresh perspective and made it empowering for women. Despite the sad and terrible ending that the main character faced, she still comes out triumphant at the end and that is what matters. I think it gives a voice to women everywhere, but especially the women who no longer have a voice because they were silenced or killed. Amazing job, amazing story.

Great film delivering an important message in today's society.

Carey Mulligan‘s performance was one of the best performances I’ve seen in recent years. The premise was good to amazing, beginning to end. That ending was so emotional and satisfying. I would honest give Promising Young Woman a 9/10 score from me.
