It was intense.

Interesting way of storytelling. Good to see Asian American people in leading, non-stereotypical roles.

John Cho was great. I loved that the director and main family were POC. Debra Messing was flat and her character was one diminutional. It could have been really good but it spent so much time showing social media it didn't have time to find a good resolution to the story. The plot suffered because of that which is what really let this movie down. If you are going to make a thriller the big reveal needs to be great and this felt like it resolved too easily and didn't really connect.

It was a good story. The cinematography was a little uncommon and I didn’t like it as much as another method. Also- at first it was hard to follow as fast typing on keyboard. Anyone not with tech will not enjoy the movie. They won’t be able to follow it. Great motel for parents and kids though!
