The characters were funny. The plot was good. Felt sad for the young lady when she found out everyone was making fun of her. Touching moments throughout the movie. Overall I'd give it 3 stars.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's always a pleasure to watch Streep and Grant. (Grant deftly played a nuanced role as husband/lover.) Simon Helberg as the pianist was a surprise treat. I gave it just three stars because it owed its interest as a story to the fact it was based on actual events.
