I thought it was really funny, but there seemed to be too much of a disregard for establishing character. It’s funny to throw away characters at the drop of a hat, but it makes it hard to get attached to the ones you don’t throw away.

It was entertaining, but not really my favorite type of movie. However, based on audience reaction during the movie and from speaking to many people afterward, they clearly enjoyed it much more than I did and so, I will recommend it to those who enjoy the genre.

The Suicide Squad is an fun, over the top, dark comedy action movie full of colorful characters and carnage. While this movie does a great job setting up its concept, it doesn’t commit to it’s premise, writing out the Belle Reve staff for a signal jammer. With a tagline “dont get too attached” I was expecting to see the likeable protagonists die and was upset with how safe this film played it.

Funny, but the violence and gore seemed a bit over the top. The plot was o, but the humor was the best part
