Overall, it was incredibly refreshing to see a horror movie that actually had a compelling story, and not a crappy script built around lame jump scares. The only thing lacking, in my opinion, was a real reason for WHY Pennywise is what it is. Where did it come from? What created it? What is it's backstory, besides feeding on fear? Maybe Part 2 will answer those questions??Bill was fantastic!!!

The movie was more funny and had scenes that startle for a jump but is not actually scary / not a horror film, so don't go in to see it expecting to be afraid, go prepared for jumps, surprise screams for being startled, and lots of laughs!

It wasn't as scary as I remember the original, but I liked the movie a lot better. The kids' friendship dynamic was very comical and fun.

it was actually really good. Like a really scary Stranger Things episode.
