The special effects were great, but I didn't feel that the movie showed enough of the rescue.

I thought it was a little too busy and fast. I didn't care enough about the victims as each had maybe a minute of character development time on screen. If the goal was only to capture the chaos of a rig in flames, then it was achieved as that is all I took away from it. That and maybe some hard feelings for BP.

overall i thought the movie was pretty good. It def kept me on the edge of my seat the entire movie with intensity/action, but I wish the movie would have covered the committee hearings on the spill and the backlash of BP's incident. It doesnt explain why the BP officials got off for manslaughter or the aftermath of such a significant blunder in U.S. history.
