It's very slow to start, but the last half hour or so is exciting. There was some great comic relief once it finally got going too. However, it was ridiculous how Mark Ruffalo was literally running everywhere. Rife for a spoof. Michael Keaton was great. Would be nice to see him get an Oscar nomination.

Despite the dark subject matter of the Boston Globe's expose of the Catholic child abuse scandal, this was a very compelling movie. The acting was perfectly executed by an experienced and dedicated cast. The direction of the movie was good, although I do believe it could have moved a little faster in places. Because of the subject matter, I doubt it will fare well at the box-office.
