Didn't see the whole film because it wouldn't play the film stop about 30 mins in & kept stopping, but what I did see was OK

Acting rather forced, not natural, esp by Riz Ahmed. Hated their music, so all the early part was really hard to listen to. Film better when he got into the program at the farmhouse run by the deaf Vietnam vet. I would recommend to folks only after sharing my caveats. Film definitely not for everyone.

The process was terrible to get access and watch. I figured I would watch on my phone and air cast to the tv but that wasn’t possible. No way I’m sitting in my comfy living room and watching on my phone. Thanks but no thanks.

A compelling film that shows the viewer what it's like to lose one's hearing and how it affects everyday life. Slow at times, but worth sticking with through the end.
