SciFi, western gunslingers, then throw in a spiritual twist everything you could ask for in an action movie, kinda. Steven Kings books are tough to translate to the screen and this one is no exception but, it carries the action. Matthew McConaughey, just didn't pan out trying to make the most of a poorly developed character but, Idris Elba as the gun slinging hero, really shines in his role and his acting is definitely worth the price of admission. I look forward to more from Mr Elba.

Suggest a warning of some frightening content for younger audience. Strange seeing Matthew McConaughey in this type of role; however, he does a good job. Thank you for the passes & opportunity! All the best!

As a fan of the novels, even knowing that this was designed more as a sequel than an adaptation, it just doesn't hit the mark. The acting is very good, but they don't have much to work with.It's a too short attempt at telling a complicated story that needs more time to develop on screen. The books are huge, the story epic, the film- kind of a flop. It lacks time to unfold and develop each element enough for the viewer to truly appreciate. It could've been so much more. Just Disappointing.

It was a nice movie but the plot was not very interesting. The only interesting part was the two main actors. The beginning was not interesting at all, and it was not very fun to watch, it feels like another cliche movie. They also gave away the whole movie in the trailers. The movie is over-hyped but did not meet expectations. The story should have been a little more complex. It's a great movie for kids but not all audiences. The graphics and action were the highlights of the movie.
