Excellent movie!

An amazing and inspirational movie. As a WWII history enthusiast, I knew of the battle of hacksaw ridge but not the story of Desmond Doss as what is in most popular books is limited. Amazing story.

This film is yet another incredible triumph for director, Mel Gibson. His courage to bring an inspiring true story grounded in one man's unfaltering faith is remarkable. Brilliantly acted by a cast led by Andrew Garfield, this film makes you want to hide your eyes at times but portrays the horrors of war with brutal honesty.
