Pleasantly surprised, this movie was not on my list of to-watch this autumn. The setting, costumes of the era and acting were all on point. \rNow, onto the not so great: The storyline was told from the 3 main characters' point of views; that was unnecessary and redundant. 2 of those perspectives were almost interchangeable. The movie lacked humor. This would have helped keep the audience's attentio

*Trigger warning: multiple scenes of rape*\r\rThe movie starts off pretty slow, however, the scenery and details of the set are beautiful. Would have liked to see the actors and screenplay to reflect more of the accents and words used during the time period. \r\rInteresting perspectives to show three main characters' points of view. Appreciated a newer storyline of survivors throughout the ages.

Though difficult to watch at times, the story grabs you and doesn’t let go until the conclusion. Jodie Comer is fast becoming one of my favorite actresses with her subtle nuances. The 3 male leads all had strong performances and did not disappoint as expected.

Story line went in a different direction then i thought it would. Action scenes were great. Slow beginning but captivated me after the first 30 minutes
