A beautiful and raw look into Mary's darkest time through this painful, yet classic, album and her triumphs over and through it! Mary represents so much for the unseen and unheard Black women of her time and will always be our Queen of Hip Hop Soul.

I really enjoyed the breakdown of every song on the album. MJB My Life is a very good documentary.

I was actually unable to see the film. \rIt started and I was locked out. \rI was really annoyed that it happened

The film was very moving. I thought the focus on Mary J Blige’s response to the pain in her life (rather than sensationalizing the causes) and the way her music resonated with her fans was extremely powerful. I also appreciated the shout out to those who recognized her talent and supported her.
