Accurate depiction and appeals to a religious crowd.

Star of the show is definitely Jessica Chastain's lead performance. Overall an enjoyable and entertaining film, although one is never quite sure of the why & the how much. How much did Tammy Faye know? How did their early mission and passion transform?

Well acted movie but felt it was more of a made for TV movie. It was also a little bit on the long side even though the timeline was quite fast and did not go into too much detail on their rise to success or their relationship with their children. I was indifferent towards her and her husband as people although found her annoying! I did do a wikipedia search on them when I got home though.

Jessica Chastain embodied Tammy Faye. The movie kept my interest and was well done.
