An important film documenting the banality of evil, and how what's bred in the bone still lingers. Good to know that the true believers in the evil that was Nazism and the Final Solution can still be identified by their abhorrent beliefs. This should be part of all HS history curricula.

This was a well done film. I think it struggled to distinguish itself from other Holocaust testimonials, or even perpetrator-centered Holocaust documentaries. The revelatory moments seemed to be the scene with the young men in Wannsee and the two characters who were proud Nazis, but it also seemed like a confessional at times, and told us what we already know at others. I didn't like the cut-to-black during the interviews, it was distracting. I know it's a tough comparison, but Shoah was a groundbreaking film, and this, while good, was no Shoah. \r

As depressing as the material is the film was well done and very interesting. I'm always interested in capturing history before it's gone and this certainly would be in that category.
